Setting Up Your Asuka VCR
- Turn on your VCR and insert a tape.
- On your Tune In remote, press Vcr and release.
- Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
- Enter code 037 for your Asuka VCR. The green light will blink twice if you have performed this procedure correctly.
- Aim Tune In at your VCR and press Power. Your VCR should turn off. If your original VCR remote control did not have a Power key, press Play. Your VCR should start to play. If your VCR does not respond, repeat steps 2-5, using the code listed in step 4. If your VCR still doesn't respond, call (937) 866-9006 for help.
Now Test Your VCR Code
- Press the Power key to turn on the VCR; then press channel scan ("CH"). Tune channels 7 and 11 by entering the number followed by the Enter key. Test all six (6) tape control keys.
- If your VCR does not pass the test, return to Step 2 at the top of this page. Using the three-digit code listed in step 4 repeat the process. If your VCR still doesn't pass the test, call (937) 866-9006 for help.
