Setting Up Favorite Channels

Select a maximum of 10 channels that you watch. If you print this page, you may list them on the line provided below. (Most people will only enter 5 or 6.) If you want them in a specific order, you must start with Favorite Channel empty and enter the channels in the order you want them to scan.

To enter your favorite channels into your Tune In remote, you do not need to be in the same room as your TV.

1. Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
2. Press and release keys: 9, 9, 6. The green light will turn on. You are now in the Favorite Channel Mode.
3. Work from your list of favorite channels. Press Channel Number, then the Enter key. Repeat this step until your favorite channels are entered. If you stop, the green light will go out after fifteen seconds. You can go back to step 1 and pick up from where you stopped.

When all entries have been made, press and release the Set key or wait 15 seconds and the green light will turn off.

Adding Favorite Channels

You can add Favorite Channels to a maximum of ten. New Favorite Channels will automatically be positioned at the end of your existing list. If you want the list in a particular order, you must clear and reenter the list. How to clear is explained below.

Checking Favorite Channel

1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
3. Press and release keys: 9, 9, 6. The green light will turn on.
4. Using the "Fav CH" scan key, press up channel. The TV will tune the channels.
5. If you find an error as you scan, STOP. While the TV is at that channel, press the Clear key to erase the error. The TV will not change channels until you resume scanning.
6. To clear all Favorite Channels, Press Fav CH up key, then Clear and repeat until the red empty light flashes.
