Setting Up Your Jerrold DSS/DBS

1. Turn on your DSS or DBS receiver.
2. On your Tune In remote, press Shift and release; then Cbl and release.
3. Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
4. Enter code 627 for your Jerrold DSS/DBS. The green light will blink twice if you have performed this procedure correctly.
5. Aim Tune In at your DSS/DBS and press Power. Your DSS/DBS should turn off. If it does not respond, repeat steps 2-5, using the code listed in step 4. If your DSS/DBS still doesn't respond, call (937) 866-9006 for help.

1. Press the Power key to turn on DSS or DBS; then press channel scan ("CH"). Tune channels by entering the number followed by the Enter key.
2. If your DSS/DBS does not pass the test, return to Step 2 at the top of this page. Using the three-digit code listed in step 4 repeat the process. If your DSS/DBS still doesn't pass the test, call (937) 866-9006 for help.

All DSS/DBS labels must be preceded by a 0 (zero) (examples: 0HBO, 0CNN). This is a requirement of DSS mode.
